About Scott Hollister
Scott Hollister is an award-winning green industry communicator who joined Golfdom as contributing editor in April 2024. A graduate of Baker University in Baldwin City, Kan., with a degree in mass communications, Hollister spent 26 years with the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, the last 12 of those as director of the association’s publications department and editor-in-chief of Golf Course Management magazine. He has won numerous first-place awards in the Turf and Ornamental Communicators Association (TOCA) communications contest and served two terms as TOCA president from 2015-2017.
