McCullen named Bayer Environmental Science area sales manager for western golf and lawn care sales market

Bayer Environmental Science, a division of Bayer CropScience LP, has named Douglas McCullen Area Sales Manager for the golf and lawn care sales market serving Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming, Bayer stated Monday.

McCullen previously served the Oregon turf and ornamentals market as a distributor sales representative for CPS and  worked as a golf course superintendent for 15 years. McCullen is an active member in his local chapter of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) and served two consecutive terms on the Oregon GCSAA Board of Directors.

“Having worked on four golf courses in the region, Doug knows the Oregon market and the unique set of challenges customers may face in the Pacific Northwest,” said Brian Tepper, Regional Sales Manager for the Environmental Science division, in the release. “The insight and experience he will bring to clients will be invaluable in finding the ideal solutions for them from the Bayer product family.”

McCullen received a Bachelor of Science degree in horticulture with an emphasis in turf management from Oregon State University and resides in Sherwood, Ore.
